Description
PASylation, the drug conjugation with unstructured, uncharged and highly hydrophilic PAS polypeptides, increases the hydrodynamic volume of the drug above the kidney pore size, slowing down kidney filtration. PASylation allows fine-tuning of pharmacokinetics by variation of the PAS polypeptide length. Available as unmodified or iodoacetyl functionalized proline/alanine-rich sequence (PAS) polymer.
Iodoacetyl-PAS(200) reacts with free thiol groups on biomolecules. The iodine group will be replaced by the thiol group of the drug to form a stable carbon thiol bond.
This product is only available for commercial customers or academic research labs.
